About me… and what we do ….

I have been involved with cat rescue in one way or another for over 25 years.   I have fostered, trapped, homed, cared for, nursed, fundraised, home checked and numerous other needed tasks!

I decided to start up this small group for two reasons, firstly to rescue, care for and find new homes for cats and kittens within the South Devon area.  To this end, we have a need for fosterers, fundraisers, drivers, and no end of other people to assist.

The other aspect of the work we do is networking, ie being in contact with groups all over the UK to endeaveour to find homes for needy cats – usually ferals – with special needs, on death row or in some kind of danger.  To date, I have found homes for three ferals in Chgeshire, saved an 18 month old ginger cat from PTS in Wiltshire, and rehomed several kittens from London, who were about to be bulldozed out of their homes for the Olympic effort.

We always need helpers, so do feel free to offer a hand.  I shall use this blod to document the cats in care, and their progress, events and publicity events, and other supplimental items!
